So, tomorrow tickets for the show of the year go on sale. It features Broken Social Scene, Band Of Horses, and the reunited Pavement! Since hearing of this show, I've been driving around listening to Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain and thinking back to why I started listening to this band in the first place. Not the lyrics, not the production, not the wanky guitar, but...the hooks. Between this, and Slanted and Enchanted, there more hooks than a tackle box (ZING!) Gotta love it. As for some other cool shows coming up, my good friend Jonas Bonetta aka Evening Hymns is doing his CD Release tonight in Guelph. There's also a slew of dates in support of his beautiful new album, plus this friday he'll be joined by our good friends The D'urbervilles, Forest City Lovers, Jenny Omnichord and DJ Hurtsack for the Out Of This Spark 3rd Anniversary bash at the Garrison.
